An estimated 1.7 million New Yorkers are living with diabetes and 4.5 million are pre-diabetic, in accordance to the New York Metropolis Department of Wellbeing and Mental Hygiene.

On Nov. 17, EmblemHealth, a nonprofit health insurance provider, held “Managing and Protecting against Diabetes — An Academic General public Webinar.” The celebration was section of the company’s public training collection, in partnership with Schulman.
“Prevention is essential — being empowered to make healthful food plan and training alternatives and consulting with overall health professionals is how our town can remain healthier this festive period and into the future,” Schulman said.
The function featured dialogue from business industry experts, which includes:

Alongside with covering common concerns and fears about diabetes, the webinar also focuses on sustaining diabetic health and fitness all over the vacation time.
