Applications are invited for admission into
various courses in BSMMU in national newspapers.
For various M.phil and Diploma courses
applications are invited only once in a year in
the month of April for admission in the July
session. For MD and MS courses, applications are
invited once in a year in the month of October for
admission in the January session.
Candidates
are to apply in the prescribed application form
along with the attested copies of mark sheets,
academic & training certificates, registration
certificates from Bangladesh Medical and Dental
Council and other related documents to the
admission committee before the expiry of the last
date for receiving the applications.
Requirements for foreign
students
Foreign students are to be enrolled through
respective Mission or Embassy, WHO and other
relevant organizations in Bangladesh in accordance
with the rules laid down by the Government of the
People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Eligibility for admission of foreign
students

The
application has to come to the University through
respective Embassy/ Mission/Organization.

The candidates are required to
submit the following papers :

All academic transcripts
recognized by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council
(BMDC)
-
Training certificates as
prescribed by the University (recognized by BMDC)

The candidates have to appear
before a selection board arranged by the
Chairpersons of respective departments of BSMMU.

After selection, each candidate has
to deposit the tuition and other fees in foreign
currency as per regulation of the University.
Selection of candidates
Candidates for admission into
various postgraduate courses are selected
absolutely on the basis of merit. All the
candidates except foreign students are to appear
at a written examination conducted by BSMMU on a
notified date. original documents must be produced
at the time of admission.
A committee formed by BSMMU will
select foreign student.
